Ms. Shank's rich and lively repertoire is a wining formula for your place. She will make money for you. Your patrons will love her unusual style. She will take the audience by storm, and this is exactly what you need to multiply repeated customers. Ute Lemper is the most successful formula, but she is very expensive; Anita O'Day will evoke nostalgia and surround your clientele with world-class music and all the magic of Hollywood yesteryears. For an intimate and cozy ambiance on the edge of romance and finesse, Paulette Attie, Mercedes Hall, Donna Byrne, Patti Wicks are an excellent choice. Ms. Wicks' classy presence, virtuosity on the piano and enormous talent in improvising and accompanying other stars are a big plus. Ms. Hall's stunning look, voice and charisma will haunt your patrons, she will magnetize the hell out of them. Donna Byrne is la crème de la crème, a favorite of Tony Bennett. You will never loose with Ms. Byrne. Now, if your patrons are fond of Hollywood's and Broadway's golden yesteryears and American standards, go for Carol Sloane. She is the queen of nostalgia, unmatched and unrivaled grande dame of great American standards.
